The 124th Ossory Agricultural Show
The organising committee are delighted to announce that this year’s Ossory Agricultural Show will go ahead at the Ossory Showgrounds, Coolfin, Rathdowney, Co. Laois, on July 24th.
After the enforced cancellation of our 2020 and 2021 events, due to the Covid-19 epidemic, we are really looking forward to getting back to normal this year and seeing people visiting the Showgrounds again after such a lengthy absence.
Interestingly, 2020 and 2021 were the only years the Ossory Show did not go ahead, since its inception in 1898, a period which spanned many difficult times, including both World Wars.
Whilst we were really disappointed with the cancellations, we realised it was the only thing we could have done and it has strengthened our resolve to ensure that the Ossory Agricultural Show 2022 is bigger and better than ever!
We look forward to seeing you all again in July!
