Memories From The Ossory Show 2019

A look back at The Ossory Show 2019

We weren’t to know then, but the Ossory Agricultural Show and Ossory Truck Show would not go ahead in 2020 or in 2021, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It was the first time our agricultural show was ever cancelled in its entire history, which spans back all the way to the very first show, which was held in 1898!

The event in 2019 was held on Sunday July 28th, preceded the evening before by a Trucker’s BBQ, with music by Derek Warfield & The Young Wolfetones.

On the day itself the Ossory Showgrounds were buzzing with people, who were entertained by all on offer, such as the Truck Show,  Vintage Car & Tractors, old time threshing demonstration, All Ireland Tug of War, Meadow Meats Super Beef Classes, Glanbia, FBD, AIB, Ashbourne Meats & Working Hunter Championships, fun dog show, glamorous granny, best dressed, and so much more!
